Which cookies and trackers are used on novastone.fr, and why.
Novastone has chosen a privacy-friendly approach: the site uses no advertising cookies, no third-party social trackers, and resells no data.
A technical session cookie is set to ensure the site works properly (form security, display preferences). It is essential and exempt from consent; it expires when you close your browser.
We use Matomo, an analytics solution we host ourselves. It is configured in cookieless mode and with IP anonymisation, to measure traffic in an aggregated way without identifying you.
This setup meets the CNIL exemption criteria: it sets no cookie, does not track you across sites and only produces anonymous statistics. No consent is therefore required.
The location map (home page) only loads after you click "Show the map". Until you click, no request or cookie is sent to Google.
As the session cookie is strictly necessary, no setting is required. You can, however, configure your browser to block or delete cookies (the site may then not work properly).
